Meet Our Team

DP Connect has always made the training of its staff a top priority. With the IT world changing so fast, no credible recruitment business could do otherwise, and for us, developing our staff applies to everyone in the company. Our staff are our ambassadors, whether you are a director, managing payroll or answering the switchboard. Simple lack of space means that here we describe the roles of our directors and divisional team leaders, whilst recognising the essential contribution of all our other staff in providing the DP Connect service.

Aidan Anglin, CEO In

Aidan Anglin

Aidan joined DP Connect as an advisor to the board in August 2011 to assist in accelerating the growth of the business as it enters its third decade of success.

In a 20 year career Aidan has held senior roles within a number of the UKs major recruiters. After 5 years as MD of MSB International prior to its successful sale to Networkers International, he became MD of the European technology brands within the Spring Group which included Spring Technology, Best, and Glotel. After Spring’s successful sale to the Adecco group, Aidan was given additional responsibility for the Computer People brand becoming MD of the largest technology recruiter in the UK with a turnover in excess of £400 million across 12 locations with 400 consultants.

In April 2017 DP Connect was acquired in a MBO by Aidan from Founder, Toni Cocozza. Aidan continues to work with DP Connect’s existing management team, with support from Toni in an advisory capacity, to further develop and scale-up the business.

 

 

 

Jan Stevens, Corporate Services Director

Jan Stevens

Jan started her career as a Management Trainee with Lloyds Bank, subsequently worked for a number of large, global organisations including Canadian Pacific and entered the recruitment industry in 1985.

Initially an advertising campaign recruitment manager in the IT sector, she developed skills in both permanent and contract IT recruitment, managed recruitment solutions and Account Management before progressing to Head of Department and Directorship roles. She spent a significant period of time working on client sites in an advisory capacity in order to produce appropriate staffing strategies, identify recruitment and training needs and actively participate in the interviewing and selection of new IT hires, to senior management level.

At DP Connect since 1997, Jan is currently involved both hands-on and in a strategic capacity with a number of PSL accounts and utilises her wealth of recruitment and commercial experience across the business, to include bids and tenders, compliance and public relations.

 

 

 

Thaya Martin, Financial Controller

Thaya Martin

Thaya has joined DP Connect in 2010, prior to this; she has worked for a number of large organisations including Power Plate International Ltd, where she was working as the Group FC managing both the UK and International divisions.

Thaya recognises and embraces the importance of paying our contractors on time every time and she goes out of her way to assist contractors and clients, and indeed the recruitment team at DP Connect, with a variety of complex accounting and contractual queries. Her flexible, commercial and common sense approach have been recognised by our customers.

 

Our senior team members all possess a wealth of IT recruitment experience, contract and permanent, and of managing key client accounts on behalf of DP Connect. All consistently exceed customer satisfaction targets and are proud to retain long term relationships with clients and candidates alike based on trust and good service.
